Biometrics Day, is a new date on the calendar of events to promote biometrics as a permanent part of the future. Each year the event falls on October 8. This year’s celebration of Biometrics Day in the form of a multidisciplinary debate with the participation of scientists, entrepreneurs and students will take place in the Barbary building (Wroclaw, Świdnicka street 8B), and thanks to online transmission everyone can participate – from anywhere in the world.
Biometrics Day is organized in Wroclaw – the capital of Lower Silesia, but anyone can participate in the event from anywhere in the world. Biometrics Day is a space for discussion and an opportunity to introduce the issues, opportunities and solutions provided by the use of biometrics and new technologies in everyday life.
The debate during the World Biometrics Day will be divided into three discussion panels. The first one with the participation of “business” – entrepreneurs who use biometrics in their daily work, the second one with scientists who specialize in the areas of biometrics, new technologies and cyber security and the last, third panel in which the young generation will speak, that is students representing various universities.
