The Wrocław FinTech PayEye, which introduced the first-ever payment with iris authentication, will be present at the Singapore Fintech Festival – the world’s largest event in the financial and technology industry. The company received this distinction as part of its presence at Impact Finance’20, which was organized in Warsaw at the end of November.
The PayEye presentation was met with interest and a very positive review by jurors assessing start-up presentations during Impact Finance’20; the first event in the region of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) for experts from the world of banking, payments, technology and commerce. The presence at Impact, in itself, is huge distinction for PayEye – the Wrocław start-up was recognized as one of the 12 most interesting companies in the CEE region. Its presentation at the event turned out to be a pass to the Singapore FinTech Festival, which is scheduled for December 7-11, 2020. ImpactCEE, the organizer of Impact Finance’20 has established strategic partnership with the Singapore Fintech Festival, under which additional sessions are scheduled for Monday, December 7. The Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) and its fifth edition is the world’s largest FinTech event, which takes place in a hybrid mode, combining an on-line event platform and over 40 physical events in FinTech hubs around the world. This year’s SFF will gather international leaders in the field of finance, business, government, technology, and among academia. – SFF 2020 brings together the global FinTech community to discuss key global challenges in post-pandemic recovery, and will help participating companies build new sales channels and partnerships and generate investment plans for the years to come – the organizers explain.
The Wrocław-based PayEye FinTech was the first in the world to introduce eye biometrics for commercial use in payments. The invitation to this proprietary project of scientists, IT and finance experts has resulted in the creation of a unique – convenient payment system based on our own innovative solutions. Jointly, these solutions form a complete PayEye ecosystem that relies on payment acceptance and user identification through iris biometrics – currently the safest way to identify a user. PayEye payment is available in nearly 70 places in and around Wrocław.
