What sounded unbelievable not long ago is becoming a fact. Poles are the first in the world to be able to pay for their purchases with a single glance. This method of payment is gaining in popularity. In October, in a little more than 4 months after the implementation of the new PayEye service, as many as 10,000 such transactions were completed.
Payment with a glance is possible thanks to technology developed by the Wrocław-based company PayEye. The Wrocław-based company has created a complete, independent, and completely secure PayEye ecosystem and was the first in the world to use the fusion of eye and face biometrics in payments, which provides double security for completed transactions. Initially, eyePOSs, or dedicated eye payment terminals, were only available in Wrocław at a handful of retailers across the city. In mid-October, the first major retail chain to decide to use our eye payment system was Komputronik, the first to pilot our new terminals in a couple of their showrooms in Wrocław. It turned out to be such a success that the brand decided to expand the service to showrooms in Warsaw and Poznan from the beginning of November.

PayEye is a technology that currently provides the most secure form of payment processing in the world. The eyePOS terminal is protected against any form of data leakage. Data is transferred only within a closed infrastructure through an encrypted connection. Tokens, an encrypted form of payment card, are used to process payments. Generating the tokens and ensuring the security of transactions is handled by ITCARD.
