Advanced talks with representatives of government agencies from the Middle East,
a few hundred new business contacts, and above all the premiere of the state-of-the-art eyePOS 2.0 payment device – these are the spectacular effects of the presence of PayEye, the Wroclaw-based company, at the largest technology fair Gitex Technology Week in Dubai.
The promotion of Polish payments in Dubai by PayEye is one of the elements of the strategic
expansion with co-financing and involvement of own funds as well as support from the
Go to Brand” project of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
PayEye is a fintech from Wroclaw, with a global potential, which has already successfully piloted the eye payment in Wroclaw, and in the next stages will make this innovative
The next stages will involve making this innovative project available throughout Poland, Europe and the world. – We could not have imagined a better place to present our latest eye payment device. Gitex and the countries of the United Arab Emirates are simply saturated with new technologies and want more of them – explains Krystian Kulczycki, the CEO of PayEye.
The stand of the eye payment pioneers, located in Dubai World Trade Centre, was besieged during all congress days. Visitors from all over the world were not only attracted by the innovative eye payment, but also by the multimedia stand built in the shape of an LED tower. Not only the look, but also the content presented at the stand, which stands out among other exhibitors, was unusual. – Dubai is the capital of the world’s “best”, and our project perfectly fit into the current trends and
I can confidently say that it was hailed by most as one of the most interesting projects at the whole Gitex. This makes us very happy, especially that the payments of the future are the biometric ones, which in the coming years will become as natural and as common as contactless payments are today. Biometrics is the next step in their development, the next and last one that will be developed for the next long years – adds Daniel Jarząb, PayEye board member.
PayEye’s representatives are already in the process of negotiations and talks not only with business, but also with representatives of government agencies of countries in the Middle East. – The talks are still in progress, but we can safely say that the question is not “if”, but “when” – admit PayEye. eyePOS 2.0 is a revolution, not an evolution. The latest payment terminal developed by PayEye – eyePOS 2.0 – had its presentation in Dubai. The device was created in response to the need for fast, secure and intuitive eye payment. During its development, the experience of partners and users was taken into account, which is the result of many months of tests and positive experiences gathered during the pilot 1.0, implemented in over 150 locations in Wrocław.
The new eyePOS provides extremely fast identification, has been equipped with
cameras, a new system and processor, and automatically adapts to the lighting conditions.
lighting conditions. The new device is also a fusion of biometrics – the safest eye identification
eye identification, is joined by face verification. Thanks to this it will be more user-friendly, and above all thanks to the combination of eye and face PayEye is preparing to enter e-commerce with its solution. This will be complemented by a new mobile application, which will make it even faster to join the PayEye world – thanks to a short registration process, providing a biometric template on a smartphone, and attaching a card. – We are constantly checking and testing our solution, but first of all we listen to merchants and users. That is why we are introducing novelties connected with our eye payment – explains Radosław Ruda, PayEye board member.
In addition to the pilot planned in the UAE countries, Wroclaw is soon to start Thus, the first part of the PayEye pilot in Wroclaw is coming to an end.
